Man Stabs Pregnant Woman

MABEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Authorities responded to 3830 School House Road in Maben Sunday morning to a domestic dispute that turned violent.

WCBI is told that a man and his girlfriend had gotten into an altercation, when the girlfriends sister tried to break it up she was stabbed in the process.

The sister was pregnant and needed to be flown to Jackson for her injuries.

Authorities say, her and the unborn baby are still alive.

No word on their condition.

Oktibbeha County Sheriffs have a man in custody and are investigating the incident.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
