Man shot in the leg in Okolona

OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) – One person was shot in Okolona Tuesday morning.

Officers with Okolona Police Department responded to a call at 1 a.m. on Adams Street.

A male victim was shot in the left leg and was transported to the hospital where he was later released.

Okolona PD said the matter is under investigation.
