Man Pleads Guilty to Enticing a Child for Sex

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – A New Albany man pleads guilty to trying to entice a child for sex.

22 year old Jon Cody Pannell plead guilty in an Aberdeen court room Wednesday to using the internet and cell phone to try and have sex with a 15 year old. Pannell was federally indicted April 24th and originally plead not guilty. He is one of several men through out the area caught in a sting operation by the Tupelo Police Department.

If convicted he faces 10 years to life in prison for the crime.
