Man pleads guilty to Embezzlement

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A man will spend two years behind bars and another three years on probation for Embezzlement.

Brandon Jefferson switched his plea from not guilt to guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars from 1883 Smokehouse restaurant in Okitbbeha County.

The crime happened between September 3rd and September 26th of 2018.

On top of serving time, Jefferson will have to pay a $1,200 fine and is ordered to repay the owner of the restaurant just over $3,400.
