Man pleads guilty in Starkville sexual battery, kidnapping case

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – An Attala County man will spend 50 years in prison for a brutal Cotton District Crime.

Jerry Talley Jr. pleaded guilty to Kidnapping and Sexual Battery. The sentences will run consecutively.

Starkville police said in May 2016 that someone broke in a home on Maxwell Street.

A female victim was assaulted and raped. A man victim in the house was tied up and put in a closet.

Originally, Talley was also charged with Robbery and Aggravated assault.

Terry Hill has already been found guilty in the case.
