Man Killed in Prentiss County Accident

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. — Wednesday morning around 7 a.m.a small truck was reported overturned on CR 2317 just north of Hills Chapel School.

Prentiss County deputies arrived shortly thereafter and found the vehicle with one occupant. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. It appeared he was wearing his seatbelt.

The report reflects the vehicle was traveling south on CR 2371, left the road on the opposite side, struck a concrete culvert and overturned, coming to rest on it’s top.

The driver was Michael W Ford, 55, of CR 2240, Booneville.

The accident is still under investigation.
