Man indicted in Louisiana killing after 2 Mississippi trials
MONROE, La. (AP) – A man who has been tried twice in the burning death of a Mississippi woman will stand trial for the death of a woman in Louisiana.
Quinton Tellis has been indicted on one count of Second Degree Murder by a Quachita Parish Grand Jury.
Tellis is accused of killing Ming Chen Hsiao in Monroe, Louisiana in 2015.
He had pleaded guilty in 2016 to unauthorized use of Hsiao’s credit card.
Tellis stood trial for capital murder in 2017 and 2018 for the 2014 burning death of Jessica Chambers in Panola County.
Juries deadlocked in both of those trials.
