Man indicted in Columbus on alleged child sex crimes

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man was indicted on three charges after Columbus police arrested him earlier in 2023 for alleged child sex crimes.

Sammy Sullivan was indicted on charges of statutory rape, sexual battery, and child exploitation.

Officers arrested Sullivan on February 6, 2023.

Court records showed that the alleged incidents happened between December 2022 and January 2023.

The victim is said to be under the age of 16.
