Man indicted for allegedly stabbing his grandmother

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man accused of stabbing his grandmother is headed to court.

Carlos Pruitt was recently indicted for aggravated assault by a Lowndes County grand jury.

The incident happened this past February on 10th Avenue.

The victim had been stabbed multiple times.

Pruitt was arrested a short time later.

No trial date has been set.
