Man Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- A Monday night accident sends one man to the hospital.

According to Columbus Police, a woman was driving along 22nd Street North and 7th Avenue north when she hit a pedestrian.

The driver told police she did not see the male pedestrian as he was walking.

The victim was initially taken to Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle with serious injuries, but was later airlifted to another hospital.
