Man Charged With Bringing Drugs Into Jail

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — An Aberdeen man was bringing more than well wishes during a recent visit to an inmate at the Monroe County jail.

19 year old Brandon Huppert is charged with bringing contraband into a correctional facility. Investigators say Huppert was trying to bring drugs into the jail and pass them to a prisoner.

They add the drugs were intercepted before they ever got inside the jail. Huppert is free on a ten thousand dollar bond.
