Man Charged In Tupelo Robbery

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police make an arrest in connection with a robbery that happened two weeks.

James Penson was arrested and held in Quitman County Tuesday after Tupelo investigators served a robbery warrant.

Police believe Penson robbed a victim at gunpoint on August 7th at President’s Gates Apartments. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. There were no injuries.

Penson is charged with armed robbery. His bond is set at $15,000.
