Man Charged in Tupelo Stabbing

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — One person is in the hospital and another one behind bars.

Effrain Millan, 22, was arrested Tuesday (9/18) after Tupelo police responded to an aggravated assault call.

The victim, who was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center for stab wounds, identified Millan as the assailant.

Millan, a native of Mexico, is charged with aggravated assault. He will be arraigned Wednesday (9/19).
