Man charged in 2016 child sex crime pleads guilty

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- A Booneville man in the U.S. illegally pleads guilty to a 2016 child sex crime.

Luis Enrique Acosta-Escobar, 34, was arrested in January 2016 for forcing sexual intercourse on a child under 14.

Escobar plead guilty in Prentiss County Circuit Court Friday.

He’s expected to be sentenced on June 10th.

He remains in the Prentiss County Jail.
