Man Arrested for November 9th Burglary

PRENTISS CO, Miss. (WCBI)- A man is arrested in Prentiss County, stemming from a burglary that happened earlier in November.

Ashanti Sampson, 33, was booked Tuesday ,and charged with burglary of a building.

Investigators say Sampson and another man, were seen in a Black Jeep Cherokee, breaking into an outbuilding in the Casey Creek community.

The burglary happened November 9th.

Sampson’s bond was set at $15,000, and he remains in custody.

The belongings taken, included an air compressor, a saw, and other tools and miscellaneous items. The investigation is on going, and will be presented to the next grand jury./
