Man Arrested After Deputies Find Drugs At A Safety Checkpoint

PRENTISS CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A man is arrested and facing drug charges after police find meth during a traffic stop.

Yesterday, Prentiss County deputies Aaron Stolz, Wesley Graves, and Blake Kelly were conducting a safety checkpoint at the intersection of CR 3101 and Highway 130 (Old Highway 30), where they arrested Stuart Wayne Livingston after finding about five grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle.

Deputies and agents with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit also seized Livingston’s vehicle, a 1994 Chevrolet Truck.

Livingston was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, and his bond was set at $10,000 dollars.
