Man Arrested After Alleged Meth Found In Rental Vehicle

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A drug arrest is made in Tishomingo County after deputies find what’s believed to be methamphetamine in a rented vehicle.

Deputies pulled the rental over on Highway 72 West in Iuka for Careless Driving on Saturday.

During the traffic stop, deputies discovered the vehicle was rented but the driver wasn’t on the rental agreement.

The passenger, later identified as 40 year old Timothy Rashard Davis, appeared to be asleep.

Deputies searched the vehicle, finding alleged methamphetamine on the floor.

Davis reportedly claimed ownership of the alleged narcotic and was taken into custody.

He’s charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance with a bond of $1,500.
