Man Arrested after Shooting in Itawamba County

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — An Itawamba County man is in jail after officers say he shot a woman this weekend.

31-year-old Billy Joe Graham was arrested after officers say he shot a 35-year-old Itawamba County woman.

Law enforcement officials say the woman was shot with a 50-caliber rifle while she was propped up on a pickup truck Saturday night.

Reports say the suspect drove up on a four-wheeler and shot the woman.

She was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Her condition is unknown at this time.
