Man Allegedly Stabbed After Altercation

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-An Itawamba man is in the hospital after being stabbed. Last night at 9:30 Itawamba Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at Murphy Road where they found a man that had been stabbed in the chest. According to authorities there was an altercation between the two men which quickly escalated and became violent. 27 year-old Timothy Witcher was arrested on scene. No further information has been released at this time.
