Man Accused Of Throwing Lighter Fluid On A Child

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Clay County man is accused of throwing lighter fluid on a child.

Darryl Pennington, 53, was indicted on the charge of attempted child abuse by a Clay County grand jury.

Court documents allege he sprayed lighter fluid on the child on July 4, 2015.

Pennington’s court date is set for October 10, 2016.
