Macon Man Dies In Single Vehicle Accident

MACON, Miss.(WCBI) – A Macon man is dead tonight after a single vehicle accident.

The accident happened around five pm.

According to Macon Coroner R.L Calhoun, 47 year-old Casey Jones was traveling East on 8th street when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

Jones was ejected from the car. He pronounced dead at Noxubee County Hospital.

Police are still investigating.
