Lowndes Man Facing Charge In Winston County

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is facing charges in Winston County after a chase Friday morning.

Charges are pending against Christopher Foreman.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh says a woman noticed a vehicle backed up to an abandoned home on her property as she was leaving for work just before 6 AM.

She called her husband, who tried to subdue the person but Pugh says Foreman escaped.

Eventually, Foreman crashed his vehicle on Keaton Tower Road in Oktibbeha County.

Law enforcement were able to talk Foreman into turning himself in.

Pugh thanked Oktibbeha deputies for their role in the investigation.
