Lowndes Man Charged With Sexual Battery

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A 27-year-old Lowndes County man is charged with sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.

Sheriff’s investigators say Johnathan Keaton was arrested after the girl’s mother reported the incident.

A friend of the girl brought up the possible abuse, prompting the investigation.

Detectives say he is a friend of the victim’s family.

No bond has been set.
