Lowndes Deputies Search for Two Shooters
LOWNDES CO., Miss. – (WCBI) Two men opened fire on Lowndes County Narcotics agents, and now deputies are searching for the suspects.
Sheriff Mike Arledge says it happened around 11 p.m Tuesday at the 2600 block of 5th Ave. N. in Columbus. When agents approached two black males, one suspect shot at their undercover vehicle.
Thankfully, the agents escaped unharmed.Now, the the search is on for the two who got away.
One suspect is described as a 215 lb. black male, who stands anywhere between 6′ or 6’2. He also a dark complexion, who appears to be in his late 20’s or early 30’s. He was wearing a blue hoodie, baseball cap and blue jeans.
The other suspect appears to be the same age, but is only 5’10, weighing in at about 170 lbs. He has a lighter complexion with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a dark colored ball cap.
