LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is out on bond after law enforcement find a still.

William Dean, 40, is charged with possession of a distillery.

Mississippi Alcohol and Beverage Control says Lowndes County deputies were called to a home about someone possibly stealing electricity.

When deputies arrived they found an extension cord going to an abandoned trailer.

Someone unplugged the cord while deputies were on scene and then they found a still inside the trailer.

Dean was officially charged several days later.

His bond was set at $5,000.
