Lowndes County man dies following accidental shooting

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A 20 year-old Lowndes County man has died from a gunshot wound.

Darren Tyler Hall was at a home on Phillips Hill Road in Lowndes County when the accidental shooting happened.

Lowndes County Sheriff Mike Arledge says several people were witness to the shooting.

Hall was taken to UMMC. He died from his injuries Sunday.

Lowndes County deputies are waiting for final autopsy results.

The investigation is ongoing.
