Lowndes County Fight Leads To Two Witness Tampering Arrests

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two Lowndes County women are accused of fighting a witness in a criminal case, after they refuse to change their statement.

Justavia Barry, 25, and Tikelsia Barry, 28, are both charged with tampering with a witness.

Lowndes County Chief Deputy Marc Miley says the women confronted the witness this past Sunday.

After the witness refused to change their statement, there was fight.

Investigators are not releasing what case sparked the argument.
