Lowndes Copper Theft Arrest

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is accused of stealing copper from a home.

Danny Bailey, 53, is charged with malicious mischief and possession of paraphernalia.

Investigators say Bailey went under an elevated home and took copper and wire.

There was about five thousand dollars in damage to the plumbing, gas, and electrical connections at the house.

He remains in the Lowndes County jail.
