Lowndes Burglary Investigation

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies are on the search for at least two thieves.

A Watkins Drive home was broken into about noon on Tuesday.

Neighbors called 911 and confronted the men, who then ran away. A gun was stolen in the break-in.

Deputies do have people of interest, but no one is in custody.

At least half a dozen burglaries have been reported in Lowndes County over the past week.
