Lowndes Burglary Arrests
Lowndes County, Mississippi (WCBI) – Two unrelated burglaries land two Lowndes County men in jail.
James Lee Lewis, 35, was seen breaking into a home, according to investigators. Neighbors called 911 and were able to give a description of the vehicle that left the scene. Lewis was stopped by deputies near the scene of the crime and number of stolen items were found inside the vehicle he was driving.
Lewis is charged with burglary of a dwelling. His bond was set at $10,000.
Timothy Griffin, 35, is also charged with burglary.
Investigators say he was seen stealing copper on surveillance video at Severstal.
Griffin is a former employee of a contracting service at the plant. His bond was set at $5,000.
