Video: Log Jam Causes Traffic Jam on Area Highway

LOG SPILL SHUTS DOWN MS145 south of Macon and Ends in Arrest

MHP responded to a one vehicle MVA on MS 145 south of Macon around 10:30 a. m. Friday Morning.
A red 2007, International tractor trailer loaded with hardwood logs was traveling south on MS 145 approaching US 45. The International drifted to the right side of the highway, collided with a bridge railing and then veered of the right shoulder, traveling down a steep embankment at which time the truck jack-knifed causing the load to shift and the trailer to rollover, losing the entire load of logs.
The driver of the International, 44 year old Adam K. Bryan of Philadelphia was uninjured in the accident. However while being interviewed and questioned about the accident, Troopers observed indications of impairment from Bryan. Bryan was later taken into custody, booked into the Noxubee County Jail and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
