Video: Local Third Graders Donate to Toys for Tots

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Some local elementary school students are making Christmas a little brighter this year for children in need.

Nearly 50 third graders at the Starkville Academy donated to the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, Friday.

Each of the students brought in at least one toy, and packed them into a pickup truck.

This is the first time the school has participated in the toy drive.

Local volunteers say they’ll be collecting toys until December 20.
