Video: Local N.W.T.F Holds Fundraiser

LOUISVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) Some Louisville hunters take aim at hunger. Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages stopped by the Louisville Coliseum Thursday night for this year’s Outdoor show, Gunbash and youth shooting event.

Shooting tanks, a laser gun range, games and door prizes were all featured.

The local chapter of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation holds the annual fundraiser to help restock food pantries across the region.

” The local chapter, the East Mississippi Chapter, does a lot of good work here in Louisville. They raise money for conservation, but they also do scholarships, they give away turkeys during the holidays to need families. We do a lot of good work her in Louisville,” says N.W.T.F Regional Director Abby Kaufman.

32 turkeys were donated at the event. Part of the proceeds went to their youth shooting program.
