Video: Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Program
MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – The Noxubee County Public Library kicked off its summer reading program Thursday.
Every Thursday in June and July, children up to age twelve can come in for story time at the library.
There will be different storytellers and readers each week.
Organizers say they want to encourage children to develop a love for reading at an early age and become life-long readers.
The children will also be able to check out books to take home during the sessions.
