Lee County Siren Test, Wednesday, September 18th

TUPELO, Miss. –  Lee County Emergency Management will conduct a maintenance test of the outdoor emergency alert siren system.

This may result in multiple activations of the warning system.

The test will be performed tomorrow, September 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.

This test is in addition to the normally scheduled first-Saturday test and is a result of relocating some control equipment.

In the event of threatening severe weather, this test will not be performed.
