Lee County man arrested for weapon charge
LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man released on parole, after receiving a life sentence in the 1980s, is back in jail for a weapon charge.
Bobby Floyd Marion Jr., 52, of Plantersville, was arrested Wednesday for Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. He also faces several misdemeanor drug charges.
Marion’s bond was set at $25,000.
Lee County investigators said Marion was previously arrested in 1986 for multiple felonies including Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault and several counts of Burglary of a Dwelling.
Marion received a life sentence for those charges, but was released on parole in 2007.
