Krispy Kreme Campout
COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) It took more than torrential rains to keep doughnut lovers from camping out for Krispey Kremes. At 6 a.m Tuesday, the signature “Hot Doughnuts Now,” sign will be turned on at the new Highway 45 store in Columbus.
Folks are staying in tents and cars to win a year of free doughnuts. Krispy Kreme will open at 6 a.m, but the official ribbon cutting ceremony will not be until 10 a.m.
Drivers, beware, the right lane of Highway 45 S will be for Krispy Kreme traffic only. The first entrance will be used for drive-thru customers and the second entrance on McAlister’s end is being used for customers going in the store.
