Jones Decision Looms

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) — The future of Ole Miss Chancellor Dan Jones could be set this afternoon. The State College board has called a 2:00 meeting to discuss what is being termed a University of Mississippi personnel matter. Reports surfaced last night that Jones has been offered a two year contract which would require him to resign after 24 months and issue a public apology to the IHL. Sources close to Jones say that deal was not to his liking and negotiations would continue. We will have the latest on the situation today on WCBI News.
