JMG Holds Initiation & Installation Ceremony

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- For over 25 years Jobs For Mississippi Graduates has been helping young people in Winston County. Friday the newest members were welcomed in.

The program prepares students for life after high school by teaching them life skills and job skills.

Job specialist and teacher Tammie Tubbs says, the program helps students see their dreams come true.

“We’re teaching them business etiquette. We’re teaching them how to be in control of their own lives. One of the things I’ve told them, good, better, best. Never let it rest until the good gets better, and the better gets best,” said Tubbs.

The program has helped over 25,000 Mississippi students.
