Jeff Lebby arrives in Starkville as Mississippi State’s next football coach
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi State’s next head football coach Jeff Lebby arrived at the George M. Bryan Airport in Starkville at 8 p.m. Sunday night. He was greeted by plenty of fans and players — and of course — by a chorus of cowbells.
It was truly a welcome party — with a DJ and all. Players were not only excited to see Lebby, but celebrated Athletics Director Zac Selmon’s first hire by hoisting him in the air.
Lebby addressed the crowd before getting on a team bus with players.
“We’re gonna be a football team that scores a bunch of points,” Lebby said.
