COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Less than two months after one fast-food restaurant closes, another is filling the void in Columbus.

The owner of the Jack’s franchises in West Alabama has purchased the old Bojangle’s site on busy Highway 45 in Columbus and is turning it into a Jack’s restaurant.

The new business should be open within a few weeks. The 50-year-old national franchise’s closest locations are in Vernon, Fayette, Aliceville and Reform, Alabama.
