Iuka Man Dies In Alcorn County Crash

ALCORN CO., Miss. (WCBI) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a two-vehicle crash, in Alcorn County, that claimed the life of an Iuka resident.

Troopers responded to the intersection of US 45 and County Road 512 at approximately 8:30pm, Tuesday evening. Upon arriving, it appeared William A Nash, 67, of Iuka, was traveling east, in 2007 Ford, on County Road 512. Nash apparently pulled into the path of a south bound 2010 Dodge, driven by Sinoma G Windham, 35, of Corinth.

Nash received fatal injuries from the crash. He died from the injuries after being transported to a local hospital.

Windham received moderate injuries from the crash and was transported to a local hospital. A four year-old child in Windham’s vehicle was not injured.
