Video: It’s Collection Week

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- It’s national collection week for Operation Christmas Child.

The First Baptist Church in Columbus along with thousands of others across the country are collecting shoe boxes filled with a toy, sandals, and various items.

The boxes will then be shipped to children around the world.

Many of the children that receive the boxes have never received a gift before.

Boxes can be dropped off between 8 and five all this week at the boy scout hut.
