Itawamba County crash victim identified

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI) – A Meridian man is dead after a Thursday morning wreck in Itawamba County.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Corporal Jason Roe says 62 year old Tony Wood died at the scene of the Highway 25 accident.  The preliminary investigation shows Wood was driving south on 25 near the Benson Jones Road intersection when he drove through the intersection into an embankment.
