Itawamba County Child Molestation Arrest

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) – An Itawamba County man is facing several child molestation charges and is being investigated by the FBI.

Jeffery Bryan Rakestraw, 29, is being held in the Itawamba County jail.

As of late Monday afternoon, Rakestraw had not been formally charged.

Investigators say deputies were called to a home south of Fulton about 3:30 AM Saturday and Rakestraw was arrested shortly afterwards.

Not much information is being released at this time.

However, deputies say the child was living at the same home with Rakestraw.

The FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force is also investigating Rakestraw for child pornography.
