UPDATE: Investigation Into Attala Shooting Continues

ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -The Attala County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the man charged with shooting and killing two people in central Mississippi Saturday.

The sheriff  says they arrested 25-year-old Marcus Malone that night in McAdams.  Malone is also facing one count of aggravated assault.

24-year-old Zackary Flanagan and 26-year-old LaBrandice Harvey, both of Kosciusko died of their injuries.

LaBrandice Harvey was the shooter’s ex-girlfriend. The two have children together.

The two victims were involved in a relationship.
