Video: Internationally Known Musician at MSU

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Mississippi State University’s Trombone Troupe got some coaching from a internationally known musician Tuesday.

World-class trombonist Abbie Conant is spening the week at MSU giving lectures, performing recitals, and working with students.

Conant, who studied at Julliard School in New York, performs internationally as a concerto soloist, recitalist and performance artist.

Mississippi’s State’s Department of Music, College of Education, and the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center are sponsoring Conant’s visit.
