International Spacemodeling Competition

SLOVAKIA, (WCBI) – The USA Senior “Rocket Glider” S8 three member team took home 3rd place honors winning the Team Bronze Medal in the International Spacemodeling Competition in Slovakia.

The team is made up of Kevin Johnson, Mathew Burke and George Gassaway.

Burke is a junior at Mississippi State University in the aerospace program.

He is the youngest member of his team and took home 10pth place individually out of 50 competitors world wide.

Teams are judged on consistent flying and keeping cool under pressure.
