Illinois Woman Charged With Armed Robbery
NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI)-She was at the store and didn’t notice she’d been followed home until a 22 Rifle was put in her face.
A 76-year-old New Albany woman was at the local grocery store when 40-year-old Alexandria Meadows of Rockville, Illinois started following her home.
She told New Albany Police Investigator Chris Glasson she was getting groceries from her car when Meadows put the gun in her face and stole her purse.
Within ten minutes of fleeing the scene, Meadows was apprehended, thanks to a vehicle description from the victim.
Meadows is charged with Armed Robbery and her bond is set at $100,000.
