Illegal Immigrant Charged with Statutory Rape

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A 41-year-old man in the country illegally is charged with statutory rape. Lowndes County sheriff’s detectives say Mario Buenrostro, who lives in Artesia, was arrested after a relative of the juvenile girl reported the allegations. No bond has been set. The federal immigration service has a hold on him and if he posts bond, he’ll be deported to his home country of Mexico.
